Reason for immigrating Donation to Eisa Colony Biography j1nx (a.k.a. "Jinx") is an "experimental" Dax/3 pleasure drone whose cortex was programmed by Paul Cortez, a prominent researcher at Elakanota Enterprises on the Europa colony. Curiously enough, Cortez' employment was terminated shortly after j1nx's creation.

j1nx's appearance seems to be modeled after a children's cartoon character, also named Jinx, that was popular on Europa's prime time television programming. It is interesting to note that the character of Jinx was a notorious computer hacker, but there is nothing to overtly indicate that j1nx is anything but a standard pleasure drone.
