Reason for immigrating For Sale by Sony Biography Emmy is a Super Singer Bot. Designed to have the most beautiful singing voice possible to artificially reproduce. She was created as a prototype to a line of Super Singer bots meant to be backup singers to Sony Music's many popular singers.  Emmy however was never put into service due to her prototype status. She was instead given to the higher up management in the company who used her as more or less a toy and a source of entertainment at corporate parties and business affairs.
