Reason for immigrating Travel Biography S-52 is a humanoid service gynoid that was created by an experimental human/robot implantation and augmentation process. The human was Sylvia Shackleton, a dangerously psychotic person who's personality and memory appear to have been completely wiped during the processing.

Generally S-52 is considered to be functioning well within it's parameters, though there have been a few glitches observed necessitating the use of behavior and physical inhibitors (i.e. restraints) in order to ensure the safety of those around it.
