Reason for immigrating Sent on permanent loan to the colony on Eisa citing lack of need on Mars for unit. Biography EV-700, which stands for Extra Vehicular unit No. 700, was manufactured in Moscow, Soviet Union, on May 23, 1989, and equipped with a Soviet knockoff of the NS-112 Aide system,  and shipped to the Olympia colony on Mars on June 30, 1989 to assist in the construction of the colony habitat and serve as labor for the upcoming terraforming project. With the collapse of the Soviet Union, EV-700 found itself without an owner, as did many other Soviet automatons. Since then, it has been passed around through several different owners, undergone several upgrades to its cognitive matrix and controller hardware and firmware, though there seems to be no records of a memory wipe ever have happened, which has left EV-700 with a rather unique personality. Its latest owner is Olympia Geoengineering LLC, a firm working on plans to terraform the red planet. Since coming into their ownership, EV-700 underwent his latest upgrade, to a Nightfall/3 controller and pressed into security work, his industrial frame and, at some point, replaced head with its glowing eyes and animalistic features, being thought to present an intimidating appearance to keep miscreants away from the company's industrial lots. However, as more and newer dedicated chassis have come into the company's automaton pool, EV-700 was reallocated to Eisa Colony to assist in security needs and construction efforts.
