Reason for immigrating Owner moved to Eisa Biography This unit is an Aegis combat unit manufactured by Nanite Systems. It was originally nothing more than a simple low budget assault drone. After it was heavily damaged in the field, what was left of the unit was sold to a third party company which refurbished it and moved it into the public sector. The unit no longer contains various combat initiatives and was repurposed into a standard companion unit.

Refurbishment included adding some different attachments under its faceplate including a multi-function remote control vibration motor (also controllable by the unit). Small motors were also added to the tips of its fingers. In addition to these modifications, hip handles were installed for ease of carrying the unit.

Cypher was then sold to a young woman. She has set his personality to a mischievous and playful one and has allowed the unit a substantial modicum of personal freedom. The unit is usually allowed to dress itself unless there are events that need dressed to. It is also often encouraged to be self sufficient and make choices for itself.

The unit is rather protective of his owner and does not tolerate disrespect towards her. It considers itself her personal body guard as well and helps around her club when it is needed.

While it has no face nor eyes, the unit "sees" with advanced echolocation combined with infrared but it could still be described as near sighted. Its vision system is low budget so it can only see clearly up close to things. last updated: 2019-02-19 15:13:08
