Education and work history As a result of his wealthy upbringing, Rainer Vanfitz has received extensive private tutoring in a broad variety of subjects but has no tangible work history to speak of. Genetic modifications Extensive, largely cosmetic and prenatal. Rainer is abnormally healthy and athletic, but not beyond expected human capabilities. Synthetic modifications None. Reason for immigrating His family has firmly requested that he take an extended leave of absence from the public eye and the operations of the Vanfitz Foundation. Biography Born to the wealthy Vanfitz family in orbit around Jupiter, Rainer has spent most of his life sheltered. His father and grandfather put a great deal of time and money preparing him to take a leadership role in the philanthropic Vanfitz Foundation, but recent scandals involving both men have led to an abrupt change of plans. The Vanfitz patriarchs have hunkered down to avoid the inevitable media firestorm and, following an attempt on young Rainer Vanfitz's life, he was sent far from Jupiter's orbit to avoid both media scrutiny and further assassination attempts. He will remain here until his family calls him back, which he expects to be quite a long time.

Rainer Vanfitz is talented but deeply dispassionate, and while he isn't arrogant or vulgar about his wealth he is unusually standoffish. His fascination with violent sport, despite his relatively small frame, gives some insight as to why his family would send him away. last updated: 2026-07-05 10:45:11
