Reason for immigrating Rescrapped Biography Ell1e is a unit pieced together by a underground technician hired  by a younger man who could... or rather would not afford a new droid to tend to his ailing grandfather.  Made of whatever parts he could find, obviously she has some technical difficulties, but has a will to live and functions well enough.

She has served her past few months dealing with a mostly silent older grandfather, being a caregiver and daily medication reminder. She would send updates to his family, order the groceries, and generally be a household droid. She served as well as she could, but alas aging and a broken heart finally took him. 

Upon his grandfathers death, the man had no more use for the bot, simply scrambled his data and placed her back at the junk yard.
