Education and work history M began graduate studies at the ripe age of 17 already with an undergraduate degree in biotechnology.  The son of physicians, it was not surprising his graduate education focused on medical research and genetic modification.  His dissertation was narrowly accepted by the committee due to ethical concerns of his research on which his presentation was based.  M had discovered a developed a method to genetically modify skin to increase both its durability and sensitivity.  The modified skin was received enthusiastically by the military but not the general public due to high expense and permanent texture and pigment changes.  M sold the patent which provided him sufficient funds to sustain himself for a long life.
