Magnus was used as a test dummy for Project Preservex. The unit was meant to preserve the dwindling population on Earth, it was successful, but not without its problems. Unit users found they could eat, drink, smoke, and abuse substances with no repercussions. As one of the first to test the system, Magnus took full advantage of his new indestructible body, but slowly the flaws began to show. First he became forgetful, unsure of names, and places. Next he started receiving 'new' memories, one that when he described to others, they knew nothing of.

Magnus' long time friend, Hakuin, was a founder of Project Preservex, but was fired when the government took over. They have been working together to try to repair the lost memories and restore Magnus, as well as others to their former selves. last updated: 2018-03-12 13:12:42
