Education and work history Sera was born in an outback town in Australia, and had her early education there. She moved to the U.S and became a full citizen with her family when she was 10 years old. Sera's father was a skilled mechanic and her mother was in technological R&D. Sera's formal education consisted of a high school level education, however her home education included a substantial amount of training in the construction, repair and maintenance of machinery as well as non formal education on operation of higher technical devices. Personal education also includes roughly a decade of free-running and firearms handling. Sera's prior work is that of a freelancer, Edgerunner and gun-for hire, doing whatever sort of jobs were requested of her. She would repair machines, provide tech assistance, work as a body guard or as a hired thug if the need arose. A complete tomboy, Sera would get in trouble often. She'd dive right into a fight without a question, skip classes, sneak out at night, you name it. Her father was a mechanic and through his teaching, she learned how to rebuild, repair and drive all kinds of vehicles, while her mother worked in R&D for a tech company and taught her daughter all about computers and technical skills. Her personal hobby in those days, however, was just running. At first she just liked to run, but she eventually got into parkour, loving the freedom of being able to move and run and jump anywhere she pleased. However, Sera's mother got a promotion that came with a relocation, and so her family moved to the U.S. That's when Sera began learning a new hobby. Firearms.

Sera discovered shooting, fixing, maintenance and even building her own firearms, and spent her teenage years learning and practicing until she was 18. That was when she moved out on her own, and after working few jobs that she just couldn't stand, she ended up working as a mercenary. This proved quite lucrative for her, and with careful saving of her earned pay, ended up becoming quite wealthy, even being able to purchase a top grade Sandevistan implant to enhance her abilities in battle. Unfortunately, as with all those who take on gun for hire work, it eventually got her into a bit of trouble, and she realized she needed to disappear. Having always been something of a short stack herself and having saved just a little more than enough money for the full treatment, Sera decided to empty her bank account and go in for a full genetic modification, changing herself into an anthropomorphic form of her favorite animal from her home back in Australia, the Jerboa or "Jumping mouse".

While the modification was a good disguise, She also knew she wasn't safe where she was anymore. This led to her taking what was left of her savings, and moving across the country, from Pennsylvania, to Colorado, Louisianna, New Mexico and finally going back across to Florida, taking various gigs along the way to earn enough money to get off world when she arrived at the Kennedy Space Center.

Sera has operated off the grid for a good while, making her money wherever anyone had a job they need done, but don't want tied back to them. Even now, coming to Eisa in the hopes of an escape from the enemies of her past, she continues to operate as an edgerunner, a merc, a gun for hire or whatever you want to call her. Offer her enough money, and you just might be able to hire a particularly dangerous Jerboa to take on your job.
